-making the decision to move back to melbourne. it’s definitely the right choice, i’ve already spent 3 years in my twenties living in the middle of nowhere. time to get my life back.
-making the decision to move back to melbourne. it’s definitely the right choice, i’ve already spent 3 years in my twenties living in the middle of nowhere. time to get my life back.
-it is the first day of spring! in melbourne. where i live it is just the beginning of the build up to monsoon season. so it’s hot, sticky and full of dread outside :S
-uni. my masters is full on with assignments and i do get a bit panicked when i think about how much work i have to do, but it’s so interesting (human rights) and i’m so passionate about it. i’ll get through it so i can get a job that helps save the world!
-food hangover. this is good because it means i learnt my lesson. i’ve practically fasted today after seriously overindulging and it’s taught me a valuable lesson about staying organic. and if i must eat cheese, a tiny bit will suffice. oy.
-making plans. 2012 has been fantastic, i think 2013 will be even better. can’t waaaiiit!
-my organic delivery shop sent me two bars of chocolate today instead of just the one i paid for. umm, life is awesome!
-go back to where you came from on SBS. compulsory viewing.
-how lucky i am to live in australia with all of these opportunities. now it is my personal duty to do everything i can for asylum seekers <3 hence i am studying a masters of human rights and i will devote my life to improving the lives of those less fortunate. how could you not?!?
-been slack with the gratitude! guess i didn’t have a great week. which is more reason to do this. i feel good now though.
-organic food! still. it’s been all organic and mostly raw (with some soup and some rice) for ages now. my monthly reward is this thursday with some cheese and chocolate, my favourite things on the planet!
-laughing with my gorgeous man about our language differences… it’s the only way to live. i love him so much.
-following my own path, doesn’t matter what anybody else does. i know what makes me happy.
-getting a pretty good mark for one of my first assignments in my masters - 71%. please note i both started and finished this essay the day before it was due, hehe.
-seeing my body change after less than two weeks of green smoothies and organic food. excited about what’s to come. this feels better than eating cheese.
-sione sione sione sione i love him times a million today
-it’s getting dark at a rapid rate and i need to get home!
-had such a good day yesterday that i forgot to write my gratitude list! now that is something to be thankful for.
-my awesome awesome AWESOME students who are the best behaved kids in the whole school I LOVE THEM!
-my first tongan lesson last night. it went well. this is one language that i am definitely going to learn, i love how it sounds! Malo e lava mai (thank you for coming!)
